Systems of Enquiry and Business Ethics

A system of enquiry is used to evaluate decision-making, problem solving, and behaviour in a business setting. A system of enquiry is basically a series of questions to help determine the ethical nature of actions and decisions made in the workplace (Code of Ethics and a System of Enquiry in a Business Setting, 2009). This system allows managers to determine if situations are handled in an ethical manner by asking questions about the actions taken. In order to ethically evaluate decision-making, problem solving, and behaviour in a business a system of enquiry is a necessary tool that will be beneficial to the entire business.   A system of enquiry based on the code of ethics at the Warwick Valley School District would include several questions pertaining to students and interactions. This system of enquiry must evaluate the decisions of teachers and faculty in regards to how they solve problems and make decisions on school grounds (Code of Conduct, 2009).
